Virtually New ‘Vette: 1978 “25th Anniversary Year” Corvette
It has 175 h.p. and an automatic transmission. Probably one of the most under-powered Corvettes ever. But this one has 19,600 original miles and it costs less than a new Kia and the Kia won’t get you Bloomington Gold. The ‘Vette has Mahogany Metallic exterior with Mahogany leather interior therefore one can assume the 2 sisters who ordered it had lots of Mahogany furniture. All the right boxes were checked making this a nicely equipped ‘Vette with all of the amenities one would expect for a boulevard cruiser and they all continue to work as new. The paperwork has survived as nicely has the Corvette too. The original window sticker comes with it and many of the factory stickers are present and in great shape. Why do we believe this somewhat anemic Corvette deserves our spotlight? Because this car will make someone extremely happy, Someone who doesn’t need retina detaching acceleration, Italian coachwork or German build quality. We think it is kind of cool too. See it here on Craigslist for $14,950.
