You can tell lots about a Porsche 356 if you understand the letters and numbers that define it. Really early cars, before 1954 were just 356–some with split screens and some with bent screens. By 1954 the 356A T1 was introduced. After that, a 356A Type 2. Then came the B in a T5 body configuration. By 1962 we get to the T6 with twin grilles, bigger windows and a external fuel filler neck. The Volkswagen Beetle started a lot of things in motion. We wouldn’t enjoy the fruits of Ferdinand Porsche’s imagination had it not been for the VW Bug. The Beetle is formerly known as the Type 1 or 111 within the VW Group. This offering is an early car with a fabric sliding sunroof. The seller refers to it as a ragtop. We’ve heard that before but we reserve that for term for convertibles. It is an exceptional car in a really good color.
