The Drag Scene: ’65 Ford Falcon B/FX Tribute
In the 60s Drag scene, the A/FX class was owned by Chrysler in the ’60s, so Ford wanted to own the small-block class with Comets and Falcons. These B/FX Fords were limited in number and were all four-speeds, so now they are relegated to museums and auctions. Why not build your own that you can have fun with? This then is a Tribute and it is a really worthy of the term. The B/FX is an eBay auction and the details of the build are clearly covered. Everything was done to faithfully recreate the appearance of a B/FX car with Wimbledon White exterior and black vinyl inside. Although a Tribute, it has the guts to go along with the screaming good looks. It has a 302 roller motor pumping out 375 hp coupled to a 4-speed and a nine-inch rear. The interior is classic 60s Falcon Futura with a Hurst shifter. Other B/FX tidbits are really what is missing like a radio, heater and replaced heavy mats with light weight rubber mats. Maybe you never thought you would want a car like this. And then you see one and say to yourself, why not? Read the details by clicking here for the eBay Auction.
