Tangerine anyone?: ’69 Porsche 911S Targa
A 911S is among the most desirable and valuable of all of the early 911s. They are a bit more demanding to drive than some of the tamer versions available in the day. The valuations on good, solid 911S Coupes and Targas can be in the mid-100 grand range. Today’s find is a California Targa in a very 60s tangerine color with black leather interior. The leather is right according to the Certificate of Authenticity and appears in good condition. It was stored for some time but has been re-comissioned to be a decent runner. It isn’t perfect. The bottom is a little crusty and will need to taken down, cleaned and sealed. The exterior paint is said to be original but without a closer inspection we don’t know if it is worthy of a car that is valued as high as this one. Plan on $20 grand if you paint because you need to do it the right way. It is worth a look at the asking price of $76,500. Contact the seller by clicking here.
