Despite a few issues: ’70 Chevy Corvette
Frankly, we don’t get why people offer cars that have a few little needs. If they are small and easy to fix, why not take care of them before you put it on the market. We hate seeing “everything works but” kind of ads. Sometimes that is a big turn off and we move on. But we linger over others because the rest of the car sounds right. That’s how we feel about this C3 Corvette. Let’s be upfront here. These C3s are pretty neat to look at. The styling is pure Bill Mitchell and his Mako Shark II show car. It is surprising that the production car maintained many of the design themes of the show car and maintained Mitchell’s marching orders to deliver a car that looks like it is going fast standing still. And that takes us to the Daytona Yellow Corvette featured here today. The seller states it is an original 40,000 mile car with mostly original paint and interior. It has the much-loved 350ci/350hp V-8 with a 4-speed transmission. Another nice feature is that it has factory A/C in place but it doesn’t blow cold. The other small item is the vacuum operated wiper panel does not function. That should be easy to sort out too. The seller states it is 1 of 50 with these options and colors. We wrote about Jewel or Jalopy so now would be a good time to call them and have this Daytona Yellow C3 checked out. See the eBay auction by clicking here.
