Rear Window: ’55 Chevrolet 3100 4-speed Pickup
There is no question that vintage pickups are huge hits and valuations are marching forward. So if you have a nice one that is all well and good. What you need to set you apart is a rare one. Well, unlike Ferraris when rare means like 35 cars, with American pickups, it can mean a few thousand. We believe that is what we found here. 
It is a “big rear window” cab and that is said to be somewhat rare. Couple that with a floor mounted 4-speed manual, and you might get a little more rare. The seller doesn’t seem to know much more about the truck. He suggests it might be all original but if he doesn’t know for sure, the answer will have to come from a pre-purchase inspection. Wow, that was 7 years ago! I’m sure the eBay seller knew the color but I have no way of contacting him. See if you can find a color chart for 55 Chevrolet trucks from a vintage literature seller. eBay might help there. Good luck and thanks for taking the time to comment.
I just woke up from a dream that there was a car show near me and my parents and I drove up to go see it and I saw this exact truck in the dream. I fell in love with it and wanted it at all costs and even though I can’t drive yet I somehow kept getting back there for the truck. Sadly, dream me did not get the car by the end.
