Power trip: ’60 Dodge Power Wagon
You cannot stop a Power Wagon. They are a man-made tool designed to overcome adversity or come to the aid of its owner. It will take care of you. Like Lassie, only with giant tires and a meaner look. We don’t know exactly if this is true but it makes sense. Dodge built trucks for the military in many versions. Soldiers depended on the trucks ruggedness and dependability. When they returned, they demanded to have a civilian version and Dodge, not wishing to miss an opportunity, gave them the Power Wagon. Today’s Power Wagon was owned by a Power Wagon junky. His son says, his Dad had literally hundreds of Power Wagons pass through his hands during his lifetime. But today’s offering was his favorite. And there is no reason to dispute that because the love and attention to detail given to this truck is apparent everywhere. There isn’t much to complain about. We love everything including the tongue-in-cheek gas cans that line the bed. If you live in the country, this is the one to have. If you live in the city, you are probably waiting for the apocalypse.
