Another AMC: ’69 AMC AMX
Just the other day, we were lamenting that we didn’t see more of the muscle cars from American Motors. They made do with fewer resources yet they came up with some pretty neat cars. Last week, we had a Hurst/Rambler SC in rare untouched condition. And then we stumbled across this exceptional AMX – the shortened Javelin.
This one is really well equipped with a 390ci V-8 and a 4-speed. The restoration left few things untouched. This ’69 AMC AMX original in Big Bad Orange has only 57k original miles with less than 1,000 miles on a nut and bolt restoration. Everything has been rebuilt or replaced including all weatherstripping, suspension bushings, stainless steel brake lines. The 390 has been fully rebuilt 0.030 over, balanced and blueprinted. All gauges, lights and signals function properly. This is a really nice looking AMC muscle car that looks better with age. Click here for the eBay auction.
