Spare car: ’65 Lancia Flavia HF Coupe
Before you get too excited, this car is in Italy. The owner resides here in Texas and has done all the research necessary to make getting it in your garage easy. This is a Squadra Corse “spare” rally racer. Squadra Corse HF is a rally team sponsored by Lancia. When it comes to the HF versions, do not forget that these sports versions saw the day thanks to the insistence of Cesare Fiorio and his team who worked in a little corner of the Lancia factory. These HFs were pretty darn successful in rally competition. The Flavia Coupe in Italy is a factory spare car. The Lancia has a Maglioli-tuned engine with 2 Weber carburetors for a total of around 150hp. More rally stuff includes Borrani light alloy wheels, roll bar, Recaro Seats, 4 points seatbelts, Tripmaster, 4-speed gearbox, sump guard, safety fuel tank, free flow exhaust, CSAI homologation papers and certifications. The current owners of 15 years state how much they have enjoyed it during their ownership. We sense it was a father/son team that did some serious historic rallies in Europe. Rally prepped Lancias with some team history don’t come around ever day. If you feel like a nice, well-built Italian Coupe for the next Copperstate or New England 1000, this could be the one. The asking price is $26,500. Click here to contact the seller.
