We Do: ’86 Porsche 944
We really like Porsche 944s. Some people don’t but that’s their problem. First, we think they are beautifully designed. The proportions are just right. Second, they are enormously practical with a large carrying capacity for a real sports car. And last, they are very well-balanced and that makes them a good handling car with little to surprise you when the twisties get twisty. Oh, and there should be a fourth. They are relatively inexpensive to buy. Don’t mistake this car for some poser. It is a real Porsche, just not everyone’s favorite. Today’s featured 944 has a remarkable 22,000 miles. The dealer has a CarFax that you can request but it sure looks like it from the photos. It is in an elegant color with an interesting interior. It may be the color or the shadows but there may be some minor damage on the right side below the side marker light. We just can’t tell for sure. Many of these cars are in boy-racer red or black. It’s nice to see something different. And it has A/C that is said to blow cold like A/C should. So there you have it. A 22,000 mile Porsche with a 5-speed and A/C for a furball under $18,000. Yes, that is a lot of money for a typical 944. We said before you can get one cheap. So you have to think of this like buying a 22,000 mile 944 that will give you years of fun as a daily commuter or potential Porsche Club show car. See it here on the eBay Listing.
