The Radnor Hunt Concours

Pano Radnor

This is an amazing event and we are thrilled to be a part of it. We have been lucky to be invited to a number of really special events and what we have discovered is that they all have their own character. Greenwich is, well, very Greenwich set on a beautiful field along the harbor. Sunday in the Park is unique because it is set on our favorite race track, Lime Rock Park, during the historic race weekend. Radnor is a very selective show in a stunningly beautiful place on Philadelphia’s famed hunt country on the Main Line. The Radnor organizers were buttoned up good and very congenial. And the lunch they provided was the best of all. It is really all about the cars and they were just amazing. We will organize our photos in a proper gallery as soon as we get home. Our Mercedes was a hit but totally outgunned by others in our category. We are still proud of our loyal Colonel and thank the organizers for the opportunity to show him off.

It does have a factory “unstamped” replacement case because of a cracked engine case but there is documentation to prove the unique circumstances. Read More

1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider

If you ever wanted an Alfa Spider that required a bit of sweat-equity and some additional investment, this is a car you should look at. It is said to be fairly original and it looks it from the photos. But it will require some effort on the new owner to be made whole. The seller says it runs well after sitting since 2001. It needs some body repair, interior work and a new top. But that isn’t going to get you all the way there. Read More
