Part One: ’57 Ford Country Station Wagon
We love the look of a good ’57 Ford particularly the station wagon. Okay, it isn’t anywhere near as iconic as a ’57 Chevy Bel Air or a Nomad for that matter. But the Ford does have a look that is perhaps a little more Ward Cleaver than the Chevy. This one is pretty stock and survived because it came from California originally until 2008. We love the color and it was repainted in 2011 in the correct Willow Green. The interior is original and has some serious patina. But it looks serviceable in the photos. It has the venerable 292ci. Thunderbird V-8 with a 3-speed transmission with overdrive. The seller says there are a few minor things to do but overall it runs well. What vintage car doesn’t have things to do? This would make a great surf wagon or a puller for a vintage camper. Wait! We think found one of those too! Click here for the eBay auction.
