Six Feet Under: ’66 Dodge D100
Vintage pickups are on fire. Well, don’t take that literally. If you follow the Mecum or Barrett-Jackson Auctions on the TV you’ll agree with our statement. After all, it is a classic vehicle you really have a use for. Those of us who live in the country will attest to the need for a truck every once in a while. Why spend a ton of money on a new Dodge Ram for those occasional trips to the recycling center when you can do it in a vintage truck. You are going to the recycling center aren’t you? So why not re-use a truck? We really like early Ford F100s and Chevies but the Dodge trucks have a mean and purposeful look about them. So when we came across this one, a veteran from Cemetery employment, we thought you would appreciate it. The seller says it had a gentle life in the quiet zone covering 54,700 miles and it looks it. It had 2/3rds of the body repainted for some reason but that was long ago. The interior looks in pretty decent original condition but only a closer inspection will tell the real story. But we like it and would give it a shot if we had the need and the room for one. And it is green and we love all things green. The seller is asking $8,900. Click here for the Craigslist ad.
Is the truck for still and what is the price ?
