Longroof: ’73 Volvo 145 Station Wagon
A solid, unrestored 145 wagon with 4-speed + Overdrive is a rare bird. For some uncanny reason, old Volvo station wagons have become cool. They started out as grocery-getters and safe transportation for the family and now a cult has formed. The seller states the original owner stored the car for 20 years before donating it to charity. The current owner bought it from them and has taken pretty good care of it. It is said to run well, with all systems functioning properly. This one has a lot of possibilities for car enthusiasts. You could really clean it up and do some killer IPD stuff underneath. With proper tires and maybe some black steelies or Panasports, you could have a ton of fun. The seller wants under $5,000 and that makes it one of the more expensive 145s out there. But not many look like this. Click here for the eBay auction.
Where is this car located? I sold one like it in 1984-1985. Would love to have it again.
It was an eBay auction quite awhile ago. I have no idea where it is now. Sorry I can’t help
