Must be very stable: ’60 Plymouth Fury Station Wagon
The 1960 Plymouth was really a milestone year for Plymouth. It was the last Plymouth manufactured with their famous fins or “stabilizers” as they were called in the sales literature. It was also the first year Plymouth manufactured with unibody construction. Unibody and those stabilizers helped a famous driver get his start. In 1960, Richard Petty began his career with 3 NASCAR grand national victories recorded in a Plymouth. Today’s outrageous station wagon is a Autorama show winner. That sounds good to us. It was restored by a Hot Rod & Custom shop and that makes this a cool ride. It has a 318ci V8 and a new factory correct interior. Except for the dash. That came from a ’61 Chrysler but the Plymouth dash comes with it. The asking price is $27,900. So if you feel the need for speed and stability this Fury has it in spades.
