Potential: ’58 Porsche 356A T-2 Sunroof
If you are smart enough to consider this car and go about the straight forward renovation, you will be rewarded by owning a rare silver A Coupe with red interior and a sunroof. You just don’t see them that often. This isn’t much to look at right now but the body is said to be fairly straight with nice factory gaps all around. It obviously needs to be stripped and repainted and who knows what surprises lurk beneath the primer. A good PPI will help ease your mind. The interior is pretty darn good and original with a silver dash and radio delete. It has a rare and funky crank antenna to add to the allure. The engine will probably have to be gone through too but the seller says it retains a number of rare little bits. The asking price is $75,000 as is. That is pretty expensive given the current condition and market. The market however is a moving target. Hagerty has perfect ’58s at between $100,000 to $130,000. We doubt $25,000 will get you to the perfect zone. So you might have to wait for the market to surpass your investment. That might not take too much time since it is silver over red with a sunroof. That gives you some serious points. Click here to contact the seller.
