Take a vacation: ’75 Lancia Fulvia HF 1300 Montecarlo
We’ll be right up front: this really neat Lancia is in Trieste, Italy. That’s in the northwest corner of the country. We suggest you have someone check it out and make sure it is as described, then fly over for a little vacay. Drive west to Milan and then to the lake areas of Como and Garda. After a week or so, head to the nearest port city, drop it off and wait for its arrival at home. The Fulvia HF 1300 is a really neat, front-wheel drive sports sedan with Lancia’s jewel-like obsession for engineering excellence. The Montecarlo is a recreation or tribute model heralding Lancias successes in that most difficult rally. The dealer says it has been totally restored with extensive documentation. It sports alloy wheels, Weber carbs and an interior complete with sports seats. You’ll be one of the few Montecarlos at the next Italian car meet or rally. The asking price is 13,000 euros or around $17,500. Add another $2,000 to get it here. That’s expensive for a regular Fulvia Coupe but not so much for a HF Montecarlo.
