Burning bright: ’65 Sunbeam Tiger.
This is a really nice looking early Tiger. The seller says it is the 234th made and that we are sure is easily substantiated. The most important feature is the STOA Certificate of Authenticity. It is too easy to clone a Tiger with a donor Alpine. This one has the original 260 V8 and it has been rebuilt. Same for the Ford Toploader transmission. This one sports a factory hardtop with original paint and we do love the looks of the car with it in position. It has 13″ Panasport wheels however the seller doesn’t state what tires it is wearing. As far as we know, there aren’t many 13″ available unless you go classic. The car comes with a file full of records dating back to 1984. That leaves almost 20 years unaccounted for. But that clearly is better record keeping than most! Click here for the eBay Auction.
