2 Owners: ’54 Jaguar XK120 3.8 OTS
This wonderful XK120 OTS (open two-seater) has been in the current owner’s possession for 50 years. That by itself doesn’t mean it is in spectacular condition, it just means you’ll be able to unlock the mystery behind the car more easily. In this case it is simple. A French medical student owned the car originally and when he left Canada in 1960, the current owner purchased it. He didn’t use it much and the 25,000 miles are said to be original. If you look at the interior you might believe it. It has loads of patina but it doesn’t look overly “used”. There are no clear pictures of the entire car but there are detailed photos of the chassis and engine compartment. Clearly this car needs to be preserved but there are some rust issues that need to be controlled and that might turn this into an expensive project. Only a careful inspection by a Jaguar expert will be able to confirm. It does come with all of its foul weather gear and some tools although the tool kit isn’t present. But that might be the least of your issues. If you are looking for a Jaguar XK120 project grab ahold of this one. Click here for the eBay auction.
