Mainliner: ’88 Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe
Malvern, Pennsylvania is on Philadelphia’s Main Line and that is one of the wealthiest stretches of real estate in the country. Coincidentally, the Radnor Hunt Concours we attended was held in Malvern. We happen to like the Jaguar XJS Coupe with that glorious V12 engine so when this one cropped up from Malvern, we thought we should take a look. Any low mileage Jag from this area signals a charmed life and the photos substantiate what looks like a really nice example. It is British Racing Green with Barley leather interior that doesn’t look sat in. It is a fairly contemporary car so it has a lot of bells and whistles like trip computer, power windows and locks plus the normal stuff we have come to expect in a Jaguar. The seller might be the service center that cared for the car because they possess a lot of service records. It has a clean CarFax too. These cars are not expensive to buy but expensive to own. So if you want a really nice driving GT car with a lot of style, you need to find the best one out there. If the V12 is well sorted, and they can be made to be, and there are no electrical gremlins, this could be it. Thanks to Arthur B. for submitting it to us. Click here for the eBay auction.
