Lots of green: ’61 Jaguar MK2, 4-speed

Yes, we have posted a bunch of MK 2 Jaguars and that is because we probably want one ourselves. The 4-speed 3.8 is the one to get but sometimes, condition and price trump power. In this case, it looks like an exceptional example of a 2.4 liter Jaguar with a manual transmission. It has a delicious green interior with wood that just leaps out of the photographs. According to Mike M. who as reviewed these photos, the seats might not be leather but they look okay for the price. If the drivetrain and electrics are in as good a shape as the interior, this is a winner. But not a winner in the speed race. We made the choice between condition and engine size when we bought our Alfa Romeo Stepnose GT. We found a great 1300 GT Junior instead of a 1600cc GTV and was never disappointed. We just worked a little harder keeping up with the pack on rallies and tours. Same here. Enjoy the comfy interior, the 4-wheel disc brakes and don’t worry about arriving late for anything.
