Another one: ’84 Ferrari 308GTS QV
We are following up on yesterday’s featured post and our view of what the next Ferrari craze might be. We are beginning to think the 308 GTS or GTB might be ready to rock. Valuations are pretty good here and today’s featured follow-up is a good example. This one looks new. We mean no patina new. It has a mere 11,xxx miles from day one. That isn’t by itself a great thing because cars, particularly Ferraris, prefer to be driven and serviced regularly. Although the mileage is low, it has just had a major service changing all the things that typically require changing. That is an expensive bill, probably near $10,000 or maybe more. We love the black metallic and tan leather interior. The seats are just crying for someone to sit in. Since this is a ’84 QV, it has a galvanized body to keep rust away. We thought yesterday’s 308GTS would go high $30s. This one is priced at $41,000 and we think that is a great jumping off point. Click here for the eBay auction.
