Minty fresh: ’89 Mercedes Benz 560SL
If you have ever had the pleasure of driving an R107 Model Mercedes SL you probably came away thinking it was an elegant, beautiful car built like a battleship. Some say it is one of the last great Mercedes Benz automobiles with impeccable build quality. The 380SLs didn’t have the best powerplant. In fact, we shy away from them entirely. It’s the 560SL that is the ultimate W107. The engine is almost indestructible and it has a fair amount of power. Today’s find is truly Mint with a scant 24,000 miles. It doesn’t matter who owned it. It is what it is. A car whose owner kept everything including the hang tags for the Becker Mexico radio. We liked this one for its bright Polar White exterior and spotless Navy leather interior. In hot weather with the top down, it will make you feel cool. And speaking of the top, it is original and as new with a clear rear window. These haven’t hit the collectible level yet but nice ones like this one are getting some love and attention. And where can you get an almost new car of this quality for Korean mid-size sedan money. There is a Buy It Now of $31,900 so get your checkbook ready and calll Mark at 914-217-4817.
Hello, is this vehicle still offered for sale? Also where is this vehicle located?
Thank you.
Actually, I have no idea if it is. I featured it a few years ago I think. There are some good ones available on eBay…
