More room: ’66 Jaguar XKE FHC 2+2
Okay, this is a first. We love XKE Coupes. In fact we venture a guess that everyone loves the FHC. How could you not. But this one is different. Subtly so. It has a little longer wheelbase and a little longer hoodline so that it can accommodate a rear seat. We never really thought that worked successfully. And yes we still prefer the 2-seater but this is an exceptional example of a 2+2. It has all of the hallmarks of the early cars like covered headlights and tailights over the rear bumper. It is powered by a 265hp straight 6 that powers the rest of the line up. The second owner of this Jaguar owned the car for over 40 years. That’s love. It was restored to a wonderful driver quality. If you have always wanted a Jaguar Coupe but have little kids, this might be your chance to acquire a good one. The price, at $64,500, for this opportunity is pretty steep in our opinion. But maybe they are a little flexible. Click here for the eBay listing.
