Unmodified: ’66 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
We are huge fans of the FJ40 having owned one in recent history. They are robust and very capable off-roaders and just the devil on the highway. This one looks like one of the nicest examples restored to original condition.
Of course the color combination is just as elegant as a Land Cruiser can possibly be. The restoration was done in Costa Rica and we have heard good things about the quality of work from that part of the world. Everything done to this Cruiser is factory and that takes a lot of restraint. These are so easy to modify with V8s or lifted suspensions. Even the tires evoke tire tread patterns of the period. The listing gives the details of the build and you should definitely visit it if you have any affection for or wish to own one of these bulldogs. Click here for the eBay auction.
