Three doors: ’71 Chevrolet Suburban
The very popular Chevy Suburban started out as a station wagon built on a truck chassis. Nothing much has changed. We don’t usually consider an old Suburban as interesting enough to be Mintworthy but we like to think beyond driving pleasure and collectability. We think someone might be interested in a vintage Suburban to tow a vintage car, racer or travel trailer. So here is a ’71 3-door (1, driver’s door and 2, passenger doors). It is a rust-free example in a neat color and the seller says it all works just fine. It has those cool amber truck lights across the roof too. The Suburban is a 2-wheel drive version and that would probably suit us just fine. You won’t be trailering your Lotus 18 Formula Jr in the winter anyway. The ask is $12,000 and that is probably top of the heap pricing. Click here for the Craigslist ad.
