GONE! Bugged: ’52 Volkswagen Sedan
This is one of the earliest VW Beetles we have ever featured. This one was restored with attention to detail to assure it remained as faithful to the original car as possible. Many New Old Stock parts were used including tail lights bumpers, ash trays and a Hirshmann Red-Tip antenna. The dash looks great and sports an original Telefunken 1A-50 radio. These cars, like many other European cars of the period, used semaphores in place of turn signal lights. This one has them and in fine working order. And of course we love the color and the fabric sunroof. So much larger than a steel sliding roof. You will experience life in the slow lane with this one but it will be loads of fun to show and drive around town. Just don’t try to see if it floats. Click here for the eBay auction.
