Very Special: ’59 Porsche 356 1600 Reutter Cabriolet
We always feature a good, early 356 when one reaches our inbox. It isn’t often that the example we get is a one owner car from California – Beverly Hills to be specific. The Cabriolet has covered only 80,000 miles and the original matching engine has been treated to a rebuild. The sellers don’t remember when exactly. The car has 5, date-coded wheels, a new factory soft top frame in the box and last but not least, a factory hard top. It had one repaint in the original color and it has matured a bit. One would say it has patina. They don’t reference anything specific about the interior other than it is red and beautiful. Could it be original? The asking price is a steep but not an outrageous $135,900. Sports Car Market has these at a 5-star pace for future appreciation. Click here for the eBay auction.
