A Normal Porsche: ’55 Porsche 356A Reutter Coupe
Provenance and originality are the hallmarks of a valuable Porsche. We use the term valuable in place of enjoyable because all Porsches in good condition are a pleasure to own and drive. Those that are less perfect because they have a modified or non-original engine are less valuable but no less desirable. Today’s featured very early ’55 356A has all the numbers pointing in the right direction. The seller is obviously a knowledgable chap who knows how to write a compelling listing. We won’t go into the details here to avoid repetition because we are certain you will go direct to the eBay listing based on photos alone. We’ve got nothing to add. No comments or criticisms. He tells us there are polished aluminum coat hooks for heaven’s sake! Did we say how much we love Turkish Red? A nice departure from the usual. SCM has 356A Coupes at 5-stars and getting close to six figures but not there yet. Click here for the eBay listing.
