Sold! Share the joy: ’72 Alfa Romeo Berlina
Alfa Romeo Spiders and GTs are known for their ability to turn an ordinary drive into a really fun outing. Alfas are light on their feet, willing, easy to live with and easy on the eyes. But there are times when having more room is necessary but you don’t want to give up all of the previously mentioned attributes. Enter the vintage Giulia Ti or the more modern Berlina 2000 Inezione. Today’s find is from Northern California and it appears to be the seller’s daily driver. We like that because to be good at daily commuting, the Alfa needs to be pretty reliable. From the listing detail, the Alfa has been treated to quite a bit of mechanical work. It sports original paint but it isn’t perfect. The interior however, looks really nice. We love the 5-spoke Cromodoras too. This is a fairly large car by Alfa standards. But that doesn’t mean the 2000cc SPICA injected engine isn’t up to the task. They love to rev and with a rebuilt gearbox like this one, you won’t fear the gnashing of teeth on the speed shifts to 2nd. Well, you really should double clutch an Alfa regardless of gearbox condition. The seller is asking $7500.00 and that sounds like a good deal. Your friends will thank you.
