Half ton of fun: ’52 Chevrolet 3100
You have a good feeling about a restoration when the seller tells you that it includes a vintage gun rack. Hopefully we are talking about a pickup and in this case we are. A really handsome Forrest Green 5-window with an immaculate interior and with all the period features intact and working. The chrome on the exterior, particularly the trim rings, look just right and it sports period fog lights in working order. It has a Fenton sunvisor too. It has the original 235ci straight 6 that has been rebuilt and power goes through a 4-speed floor mounted gearshift. The pickup bed is finished in oak with a nice patina. It is a California truck so the seller tells us, therefore the truck was and continues to be, rust free. Everything about this one is nice. Of course, an eyeball on the vehicle will tell us if everything was done to a good standard. It isn’t going on the lawn at Pebble Beach but it should be done well. Vintage pickups are on fire right now and this one could go in the $30s if there are some active bidders out there. Click here for the listing.
