That was quick – Sold! : ’72 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000
The GTV is handsome in just about any color and this navy blue example is a very handsome car indeed. The seller says it is the original color so we assume it is Blu Olandese or AR-343. That is kind of rare in these parts. The seller took some liberties with this one or perhaps it was the previous owner but the liberties are in good taste. The interior has those wonderful flying buttress seats from the one-year only ’69 GTV. It has a great set of seat belts too. The GTV is shown without bumpers and looks pretty neat this way. The original bumpers go along with the sale. The grill is an older style from the ’69 GTV and it looks nice here too. The car has lots of new things like Panasport wheels, Bilstein shocks, adjustable suspension and tires. So it should go down the road nicely. The engine and transmission have some small GTA bits to spice things up and the SPICA has been ditched for a pair of Webers so the seller’s statement that it is stock isn’t correct. The transmission synchro are in good shape. The asking price is high at $29,000 but for a California car with these mods, it could be a deal if done well. Click here for the Hemmings listing.
