Sharp: ’70 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
We have had a few Karmann Ghias on Mint before but none as sharp as this neat convertible. It just looks smashing in Pastel Blue with White interior. The wheels just make it a lot more sporty and a lot less cute. That is good. It has been treated to a total restoration including an engine rebuild, high quality paint and an entire interior refresh. The new soft top is also white to match the interior. Thankfully it is fitted with a manual transmission and not the Automatic Stick Shift that was available. We like the very aggressive looking exhaust system and wonder if there were any performance enhancements made during the build. The seller says it drives well and has no issues. The odometer shows 29,538 miles however there is no documentation. No harm. Since it was basically a total rebuild, think of it as a new(er) car. The price reflects the quality at $24,900.
