What has 520 horsepower, 530 foot pounds of torque, 4-wheel drive, panorama sunroof, heated seats, navigation and cost $132,000 brand new? This absolutely insane Porsche SUV that’s what! This is the SUV that skeptics said will kill the Porsche brand. Well, nothing can kill the Porsche brand, not even a Panamera. In fact, the Cayenne probably helped secure Porsches independence and provide a bright future for us Porschephiles. I forgot to mention these little niceties: Porsche entry & drive, aluminum finished front grill, 6-Disc CD changer with Bose premium sound system, extended aluminum interior package, factory trailer hitch, aluminum finished outside mirrors, illuminated door entry guards, 20″ Sport Techno alloy wheels with body color trim, sport seats with memory, light comfort package, Satellite radio, Porsche crest on the center armrest and additional custom ordered details to be discovered upon inspection. Now a ’06 Porsche is classified as a used car so it wouldn’t normally fall into the Mint2Me matrix. But it is being sold by our friend Mark Starr and he said it is absolutely outrageous and a relative bargain at $27,900. Yes, it has 80,000 miles but we hear it has been dealer serviced so if all of the expensive stuff has been done, who is to say another 80,000 trouble-free miles isn’t possible?You skeptics can take the same money and buy that Toyota Rav4 instead.
