Semi-woodie: ’54 Ford Country Squire
We have an interesting way to enjoy a mainstream American classic wagon for not huge money. It is the top-of-the-line Crestline Country Squire tin-woodie. Actually, there is still a bit of wood is included to trim the fake wood panels. But in no way is wood used in the structure of these wagons. Now this one is far from perfect cosmetically but that gives the next owner an opportunity to take this to the next level or leave it as is and improve as much as possible. It is powered by a 239ci V8 with an automatic transmission. Perfect car to haul a classic travel trailer .The seller is asking $16,000. Hagerty equates that price to a car in 3.5 condition. Nice examples can sell for $30 or even $40 grand so there is room for improvement. Sounds like that might be exactly where this tin woodie is. It may be better than that when you get your eyes on the paint issues. Click here for the listing.
I’m in the market for a mid 50’s Ford wagon. Is this one still available? If so give me a call at 208 891-7186 or email bmather3003@gmail.com.

Actually I don’t know for sure since I featured this one a few years ago.
