The seller/builder frequently vintage raced this Twin Cam and participated in the Monterey Historics and the Coronado Speed Week. There is so much more to know about this one.The car has a 5-speed heavy-duty close-ratio gearbox, a light flywheel with a Tilton Rally clutch. The engine is a factory replacement block, balanced and rebuilt with high performance lightened rods, billet crankshaft, JE high-compression pistons and slightly oversized valves. The MGA breaths through Weber 42DCOE carbs on custom-made intake manifold. The engine was run on an engine dyno and produced 142hp and revs very easily to 7,000 rpms. This is a totally restored car top to bottom with great history. Twin Cams are pretty much the top of the food chain for MGAs.
