Second owner seller: ’67 MGB GT
The MGB GT isn’t a rare car. They made 125,000 of them from ’65 to ’74. The really nice ones are the early steel dash cars like the one we found for you today. It has managed to be a 2-owner car and that is a good thing. The second owner performed a complete restoration in ’94 and it appears to be holding up rather well. We prefer a car with a little patina on it over a car that has just come out of the oven. We also like black with red interior piped in black. From the photos in the lisiting it looks like some nice details have been worked in by the owner like the rather noticeable chrome shift knob with crest. It has more bling on the exterior with a nice set of chrome wires. We usually prefer painted wires but they do look great on this one. It has been treated to a recent service amounting to around $1,200 in receipts. This could turn out to be a turn-key car perfect for touring and events or just running around town. SCM Price Guide has them modestly priced between $8,000 and $13,000 with a B rating and 4 stars. The B rating and 4 stars are a pretty good forecast for the future. Hagerty Valuation Tools is a bit more aggressive but still not near the seller’s asking price. Click here for the listing.
I finished my restoration .I put in a walnut dash gear knob and hockey sticks the finish is of the same quality as yours.
Any pointers might be helpful to exchange

Beautifully done. The cockpit alone would make me smile every time i settled into it. If you’re thinking of restoring one, don’t bother. Just buy this and save yourself thousands.
