Warm Climate: ’41 Cadillac Series 75 Divided Sedan
The USS Niblack attacked a German U Boat on April 10, 1941 months before the US formally entered WW II. This very original Series 75 was shipped to a dealer in San Francisco on April 2, 1941 therefore it was lucky to get built at all. It was a special order car in Brewster Green with Beige cloth interior. This is a formal 5-passenger sedan with a window divider between the driver and passengers. One might assume, the driver was paid to drive by the passengers. In an effort to save money (insert smiley face) the car was ordered without a heater. However, there is enough room in the rear for a fireplace. The car is unrestored and the subject of one repaint many years ago. The only issue in the interior according to the listing, is some dull woodwork. The seller says it is totally roadworthy and is fully sorted. The asking price is $38,500 negotiable. That puts it squarely between a condition 2 or 2- car. If you can get this one for closer to $34,000 all the better. Click here for the listing.
