Looks Familiar: ’46 MG TC
We see quite a few MG TCs mainly because they were very popular early post-war sports cars. But the truth of it is they didn’t make very many back in 1946 like this one we have for you today. According to Hagerty (and others) because of limited resources, they could only manage to build 1,600 TCs in ’46. So this one may look familiar but it is a bit more rare than ’47s through ’49 TCs when MG ended production. Today’s featured car is offered by the current owner of 38 years. He doesn’t go into too much detail in the listing but we are confident if you engaged in conversation with him you will be overwhelmed with details. It is a good running car in great period colors. No rust, no dents, no stories. He is asking $30,000 and that is very reasonable if the condition matches the photos supplied. Hagerty has condition 2 cars at $45,000 and trailer queens at over $50,000. And that is based on the slightly more plentiful ’47 model. Click here for the listing.
