Half ton of fun: ’67 Chevy C10
We were watching the Mecum Auctions from Florida and it never ceases to amaze us how many collectible C10s cross the block. We had a rather cool slightly modified C10 last week but today’s is a little different. It is a well documented, 2-owner truck with all of the paperwork you could imagine. It has mostly original paint and an original interior that was covered in plastic until recently. The body has patina and it appears that it had large trailer towing mirrors at one time. That left some holes in the door but we can live with that. The original owner was a truck collector of sorts. He purchased the truck with a straight six and a column mounted 3-speed. He switched the six out for a 283 V8 when the truck was almost new. The mileage is unverified and extremely low. It shows only 8,010 miles. The daughter of the original owner says it is correct. This is a terrific truck that deserves to be cared for but used often. Click here for the listing.
