Good bones: ’69 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport
Okay, we get that it looks pretty horrible right now but if you were looking for a restoration project, isn’t this the way you want to start? There is no hiding anything when you have original paint on the car no matter how blasted it is. So we think the body is probably pretty solid all the way around. The interior actually looks pretty decent although closer inspection will be the true test if that needs to be updated along with the body. What is also special about this Rally Sport is that it has all of the original parts and documentation to prove it. So the listing has codes and casting numbers from here to eternity. That is neat. The original LM1 engine produces a decent 255 hp and has been rebuilt to specification. It also has a 12-bolt rear with Posi-traction. Pretty cool. With the craze towards originality at its peak, maybe you keep it this way for a season or two. Work the bugs out mechanically and enjoy sharing the originality story with all those Camaro lovers. A price of $25,000 sounds a bit high but a good place to start. Click here for the listing.

write back with a contact e-mail to talk

I can see why you think we continued to help the seller with this one. The Craigslist post has long expired and we have no way of contacting the new owner….
