Happy 1st Anniversary!

It feels like just yesterday when we published our first featured post – a ’61 MGA. Well, 1,231 featured cars later and we have reached this incredible 1-year milestone. Along the way we have met or talked to so many interesting and knowledgeable car people. We think the timing for Mint2Me was perfect. The collector car hobby has never been more exciting as more and more people join our ranks. If you look back 10 years, would you have ever forecasted live coverage of automobile auctions? Going forward, we will continue to search for the cars that we like and hopefully you will have interest in too. Our tastes are pretty eclectic therefore on some occasions you might say to yourself, “what were they thinking.” That’s okay. Our skin gets thicker by the day.

Now is the time to think of Mint as something more than an interesting read with your morning coffee. You see we’ve been very successful in finding cars for our readers. We’ve also sold a few under our Preferred Program. Both have fees attached but they are modest in comparison. Before you move on, you can help us out by sending in some treasure that you have found. We can’t promise to feature every one but if it is Mintworthy, we will.

We would like to give a shout out to our friends at Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car Magazine. It is a terrific publication and a fitting extension to the traditional Hemmings Motor News. If everything goes okay, there will be a feature article about our ’67 Mercedes-Benz Fintail in the April issue.
