Great sound: ’76 Triumph TR6
Thankfully, not all sports and classic cars that you can enjoy are 6 figure cars. There is something for everyone. The Triumph TR6 is a very popular British sports car. They sold well so there are usually quite a few to choose from on any given day. We selected this one because we think there is a chance this might be a pretty decent car. It has always been a California car and the seller says it is rust free. It is equipped with a factory hardtop and that adds a whopping $1,000 to the value of a TR6 according to Sports Car Market Price Guide. The Triumph is finished in classic British Racing Green with tan interior. We don’t know how well it was repainted but the door striker shouldn’t be painted and that means it probably had an okay but not great job. Fortunately, that is an easy part to clean up. But what else has overspray on it? It has 45,000 miles and the seller says it is original. The interior looks to be in good nick and the original radio does come with car if you want to swap it back where it belongs. The engine has been serviced and there are no apparent needs. The seller says all of the electrical components and gauges are fully functional. TR6s are known for their great sound. This one has an aftermarket Ansa exhaust that can only improve things. The seller is asking $13,500 and for a solid TR6 with a hardtop that is probably a pretty good place to start. It probably isn’t perfect but who really needs a perfect TR6? It would be even better with an Overdrive option but you can’t have everything at this price. Click here for the listing.
