Fresh: ’60 Porsche 356B S90 Roadster
Porsche introduced the new “T-5” body style in 1960, designating the model 356B. The T-5 had a flatter hood and front sheet metal, and larger, higher bumpers. The Convertible D was discontinued and replaced by the Roadster, built by Drauz. Roadster production for the 1960 model year was 2,008 units. We found this recently restored T5, S90 Roadster in Red with tan interior. With any completely restored vintage car, particularly a 356 Porsche, it is the quality of the work that will dictate whether or not this is a good asking price. The listing does not provide any details including the all important existence of a Certificate of Authenticity certifying the color and engine numbers. That will require a phone call. If the color is not original, you can slice around 20% off maybe more. A period correct engine but not the original will merit a 15% reduction. But from where does one begin to deduct Some insane recent auction price of a nut &bolt restored car by a marque specialist. Hmmmm. The asking price is $130,000. Click here for the listing.
