Fancy K-Code: ’65 Ford Mustang Coupe
In the early Mustang universe, the K-Code Mustang is second only to the Shelby GT350. We feature them whenever a nice one comes up. This one is hard to pinpoint because the seller doesn’t tell us much. It could be a GT because it sports the grille mounted lights but you could add lights, stripes and trumpets to make it look like a GT. The only real way to tell is by decoding and we have no stinking numbers. But since it has no trumpets exiting the rear valance, we think the other GT-like parts wer dealer installed accessories. It does have a vinyl roof and the styled steel wheels shod with twin red-stripe tires. Looks a little too fancy for us. We are astounded by the prices these seem to bring of late. This seller is asking $55,000 and that does sound pretty aggressive. But this one has a scant 26,000 miles and that is extraordinary. Maybe near $55 grand is the right price. Click here for the listing.
