These early Datsun Roadsters are finally getting the love they deserve. The really early cars like today’s find is prized because, among other things, the interior has a more period look to it. It has toggle switches and a beautiful dash with round gauges. These pre-68 cars are known as low-screen cars because their windshields are lower. they are prized by Datsun collectors. It has undergone a restoration that is nearly complete. The seller tells us the drivetrain has been rebuilt and sorted and the interior is new and correct. They were not very specific about the paint although they mention it has been wet-sanded and has a nice gloss to it. They also say the paint in the trunk and engine compartment match the exterior. The seller is asking $13,900 and depending on the quality of the work done and what might be left to do, this could be a decent price. Hagerty Valuation Tools say that this price equates to a Condition 3 example. Now if this were a 2000cc ‘67.5 car, it would be the holy grail of Fairladies!
