Convert: ’84 Ferrari 400i
There are a few Ferraris that remain undervalued or stagnant and some might say for good reason. And that reason is they are not very exciting cars although they might look like they are. The Mondial is certainly one that will be stuck for a long time yet the 400i and 412 are trying very hard to break free. The majority of these luxurious Ferraris were built with GM Automatic transmissions. About 1/3rd with 5-speeds. Today’s car is one of those 5-speeds. Keep in mind that these were not officially imported to the USA so any car here is either a recent arrival or a grey market car. If it is a grey market car, you need to know who updated the car to American specification. Some firms were good at it and some just got by. They are powered by a voluptuous V-12 straight out of the 365GTC/4 with an additional 30 hp. This one has working A/C, tool kit, manual and jack. The asking price is a bit ahead of the market at $49,000. The buyer has his eye on something else so maybe a deal can be struck. Click here for the listing.
