Rare Combo: ’60 Porsche 356B Super
There are always quite a few Porsche 356s available at any given time. Like any car, if you are interested in a restored car, you should look to a marque expert to have been the one who completed the work. That isn’t a 100% rule. Given the opportunity and a decent budget, a quality shop can do the research to do a decent job. We selected today’s 356B Super not because of the quality of the work but because it is a rare color combination Aetna Blue over red leatherette with a factory sunroof. It is difficult and unfair to be an armchair concours judge so we will refrain from being overly critical. What we know is the Certificate of Authenticity supports the car as it sits today. Nice. We will weigh in on the quality of the interior. The seats look like they could have been fitted better. There has been some metal work underneath but compared to most restorations, it isn’t a lot. If you are looking for a sunroof coupe, you should consider given this one a try. What ever is wrong with it (we aren’t saying there is anything) is probably worth fixing. The asking price is $89,995.00. Click here for the listing.
