Poison Ivy: ’66 Ford Mustang
If this was a year newer, had a 390cid V8 and was finished in Highland Green instead of Ivy Green it would be a Bullitt clone. According to the seller this is an original 23,000 mile car that came from the factory with a 4-speed toploader, center console and power steering. It has GT lights but not the GT package. The suspension was upgraded and it rides on Koni shocks at all 4 corners. Too many times when we get far into an ad for a classic we’ll discover that there is something wrong with the car that is very minor. “Everything works except the wipers. Probably just a fuse”, they say. Well if it is just a fuse, change the freakin fuse! Thankfully that is not the case with this Mustang. Everything is in working order including all of the interior lights. We like the seller and the car very much. Click here for the listing.
‘First to see will buy!’ I often want to go and see the car just so I can say ‘well, I didn’t buy it…’
“Yea, it was running when it quit, fresh gas will work wonders….!”
Great Mustang.
I agree with the ” it’s only a fuse” type of nonsense found in listings. Right, “it just needs a shot of freon” cliche . How foolish some sellers are !
