Yet another: ’70 Porsche 911E
We have a 2 or 3 owner 911E that looks pretty darn good. But looks are deceiving. Until 2 years ago, it was owned by the original owner. Then a purchase by number 2 and quickly to number 3. The engine was removed for a reseal job and that is good but don’t be surprised if it still drips. They all seem to. It still has the hydropneumatic struts up front; a rare occurrence. Some work was done to the transmission to quiet 1st and 2nd gear. Hopefully successfully. The seller does disclose some previous crash damage to the front fender, door and quarter panel. The seller also tells us it was done well enough to be undetectable today. Sport seats were added by this most recent steward and that is an expensive change to make. We like it and we like the fog lights up front and nice 2.2 liter sticker too. Let’s see where this one winds up. A nice 911E Coupe is a wonderful thing. Click here for the listing.
